Clocktower Comix celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting at its 518 N. Main St. location in Chelsea on Nov. 18.

Representatives from the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce were among those in attendance.

Jason Povlich, who owns several businesses in Chelsea including Jet’s Pizza, owns Clocktower Comix and runs it with the help of his sons – Nolan, Patrick, Caleb, Conor, and Ethan Povlich.

The business opened in August and buys, sells and trades comics, sports cards, games and toys.

Clocktower Comix sells a variety of sports cards including baseball, soccer, basketball, and racing cards, as well as sports items like jerseys and Funko Pops.

Every Wednesday, new comics arrive at the store, ranging from “She-Hulk” to “Joker War”, “Evil Captain Marvel” to “Happy Captain Marvel”.
