Zane S. Hatahet Appointed by Governor to Commission on Middle Eastern Affairs

Zane S. Hatahet of Chelsea, was recently appointed by the governor to the Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs.

This commission advises the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity and the governor on issues relating to the Arab and Chaldean communities in Michigan and promotes awareness of their culture and history. They also work to empower, promote, and advance the Middle Eastern American community in Michigan.

Hatahet is legal counsel for Magna Electronics, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan. Mr. Hatahet is appointed for a term commencing June 21, 2022 and expiring April 19, 2026. He succeeds Manal Saab whose term expired April 19, 2022.
