The Beach Middle School wrestlers had a rough night in Bedford Wednesday. Wins were hard to come by and they lost the dual meet.
The highlight of the night was Nickolaus Matusko bumping up a weight class and defeating two of Bedford’s best wrestlers 6-0 and 6-1.
Gabe Vowles had a come-from-behind pin against his first Bedford opponent and won a tough 5-4 victory in his second match.
Mitchell Reynolds also won two matches pinning both of his Bedford opponents.
John Davis and Jack Krauss also won a match each.
The wrestlers next compete at the Holt Invitational Saturday.
