On Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., the Chelsea Evening Primrose Garden Club will host a special program and speaker at 7 p.m. at the Chelsea Depot on Jackson Street.
Guest speaker, Peter Carrington, PhD., curator of W. J. Beal Botanical Garden at MSU and an edible and toxic plant specialist, will give a presentation called “Toxic Plants and Their Friends.”
Carrington will present an exploration of poison plants in our environment and the creatures who depend on them for food and defense.
Light refreshments and snacks will be served. Guests are welcome, and the program is free.
