St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea recently appointed Julie A. Soriano, M.D., to its Board of Trustees.

Soriano replaces Cyril S. White, owner of Country Spirit CrossFit and Whitehouse Financial and Settlement Consulting, who stepped down after serving on the board for nine years.

Soriano, a resident of Dexter, is a board-certified radiation oncologist. She is part of the private practice, Huron River Radiation Oncology Specialists, and has served on the medical staff of St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea, St. Joseph Mercy Livingston, and St. Mary Mercy Livonia since 2013.

Soriano completed her undergraduate degree at John Carroll University and her medical degree at The Ohio State University. She completed her radiation oncology residency at The University of Michigan.

“We are fortunate to have Dr. Soriano’s knowledge and years of medical experience on our Board of Trustees,” said Nancy Graebner, president and CEO of St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea. “She is an accomplished and well-respected medical staff member that will bring both energy and perspective to our Board.  We also thank Cyril White for his lengthy service and for sharing his business acumen and passion for health and wellness.”
