The theme for this year’s July 30 Pet Parade is “Helping Paws.”
Hosted by Chelsea Farmers Supply, the Pet Parade is a long-time favorite tradition of the Sounds and Sights Festival.
Have fun dressing up your pet and joining other families in the easy-to-walk parade route. This year’s “Helping Paws” theme celebrates the people and organizations that do good for the world. Dress your pet to support your favorite cause or dress them to resemble a philanthropist, scientist, doctor, fire fighter, police man or other community hero.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the parade starts at 10 a.m. at Chelsea Farmer’s Supply. After the parade, head on over to KidZone for more great family activities.
You can sign up to join the pet parade by calling 475-1777 or stopping by Farmer’s Supply at 122 Jackson St.
AS a dog lover I hate to see this event. Its to hot to subject your pet to the high temps and hot pavement Leave your pet at home. DO THE RIGHT THING.
I totally understand what Bob Rudd is saying, but it’s forecast to be 67º at 9:00, and 70º at 10.
Not that the forecast won’t change, but just saying… 🙂
