The ladies of Inverness Country Club hosted a Ladies Only Golf Outing on Aug. 4 to benefit the Chelsea Cancer Center. A beautiful day and 40 women made for a day of fun, laughter and good golfing.
“It is important to us to make sure women dealing with health issues don’t have to worry about being able to get care due to lack of funds for co-pays, childcare, etc.,” said organizer Tammy Burgess.
“Thanks to our sponsors and community support, we were able to donate $600 to Chelsea Cancer Center to help women with issues that prevent them from receiving care. A special thanks to our sponsors Rick Eder/Farm Bureau Insurance, Chelsea Chiropractic Center, Healthy Smiles and Jeff Klink and Associates.”
