Sept. 19: Women’s Bible Study first session

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Gretchen Zale for the information in this story.)

Women of all ages, faith backgrounds, and levels of Bible understanding–from Chelsea and the surrounding area–are invited to attend an info/intro get-together in the 400 Building of Chelsea’s Washington Street Education Center on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 9:30 a.m.

This is a chance to view short videos of all three of this year’s Women’s Bible Study sessions, meet the leaders, and enjoy coffee and snacks in an informal gathering with old and new friends.

Sponsored by the Chelsea Free Methodist Church, the WBS will begin its first session of 2017-2018 on Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Chelsea WSEC 400 Building.  This fall study will feature Priscilla Shirer relating “Jonah–Navigating a Life Interrupted” into a definition of God’s work in our own lives.

This first session continues for seven weeks until Nov. 7, 2017, followed on Nov. 14 with a surprise one-morning session/video.

Subsequent sessions in winter/spring 2018 include “Hebrews–The Nearness of King Jesus” narrated by Lisa Harper, and “The Armor of God” again with Priscilla Shirer.
