July 27: stop by the Saturday Farmers Market for summer produce

Before you enjoy all the activities Saturday at the Sounds and Sights Festival, stop by the Chelsea Farmers Market in Palmer Commons, which runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will be plenty of fresh produce this Saturday including both Michigan sweet and sour cherries, raspberries, and blueberries, as well as green beans, red beets, cucumbers, new potatoes, zucchini, carrots and more.

You can find meats, eggs, honey, fresh breads, cakes and cookies, too.

The market is a great place to buy a gift. Choose from soy candles, pottery, beads, lavender items, and more.
