GoFundMe campaign benefits Nancee Sanville

Nancee Sanville, Rick Taylor and Guy Sanville at the Citizen of the Year banquet.

You may not have met Nancee Sanville, but you’re certainly familiar with the Purple Rose Theatre and her husband, Guy Sanville, who is the artistic director of the theater.

In June of 2016, Nancee Sanville discovered she had stage 3 ovarian cancer.

She went through two surgeries and a full chemo treatment, after which the family was told everything looked great.

Then, according to the GoFundMe page, three months later the cancer was back, and it had spread to the lymph nodes as well as other areas of her body.

Additional chemo has been ineffective and it’s time to do genetic testing on the tumor to try alternative treatment therapies, none of which are covered by insurance.

The Chelsea community always helps those in need and now that you know about this fundraising campaign, if you’d like to help, please go to https://www.gofundme.com/nancees-network.

You can donate in any amount to help meet the $30,000 goal.
