The Inverness Country Club welcomes the public to an open house on Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m-2 p.m.
Members will be on hand to answer questions about the course and facilities. It’s located at 13893 North Territorial Road in Dexter Township.
Inverness is a private club with close to 300 active members. It has a 9-hole golf course, a Licensed Class A PGA professional available for lessons, as well as leagues and tournaments. The club also offers tennis, pickle ball, a basketball court, and social events.
Tee times and clubhouse rentals are usually available because reservations are only taken for events such as leagues, and between Memorial Day and Labor Day from 7-10:30 am. on weekends.
The Inverness Country Club was founded in 1926 by Doug Fraser and is one of the state’s oldest courses.
