At the Bushel Basket Market: Wednesday, Sept. 19

The Bushel Basket farmers’ market is open Wednesdays from 2:30 to 6 p.m. at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds.

Here’s what the vendors expect to have this week.

Kapp Farms: string beans, kale, tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, baked goods.

Waterloo Country Crafts and Tack: quilts, throws, Raggedy Ann dolls, and monkey dolls.

Barbara’s Stitches: quilts, monkey dolls, little girl dresses, pillows, bibs from children and adults, aprons, and potholders.

Lutchka Angus and Farm Market: Zucchini, summer and winter squash, Brussels sprouts, peppers, red and Yukon Gold potatoes, sweet corn, red, yellow and black cherry salad tomatoes, kale,flowers, sweet potatoes, and a variety of hot peppers.

Oak Hill Farm: honey, bee pollen, lotion bars, candles, gift bags with assorted honey products.

Mark’s Farms and Greenhouse: tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini, acorn, butternut, buttercup and spaghetti squash, green onions,leeks, Swiss chard, kale, okra, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, sweet and hot peppers, canning tomatoes, eggplant and turnips.

Good Time Kettle Corn: small, medium and large bags of kettle corn cooked fresh at the market.

Golden Fleece Farm, LLC: grass fed ground beef patties, organically grown and naturally raised whole chickens.

Greystone Creamery: feta, ricotta and Machel cheese, possibly cow gouda, Chelsea-cam, blue Man-Chel, possibly sheep gouda, garlic pepper and plain cream cheese.

Pregitzer Farm Market, LLC: peppers, summer squash, cukes, pickling cukes, corn, watermelon, broccoli, cabbage, eggplants, patty pans, zucchini, frozen chicken by order, a CSA (community supported agriculture) farm, ask for details.

Janet’s LLC: fudge, grilling rubs, jam, flavored nuts, both U-M and MSU “dammit dolls,” and greeting cards.

Stone Hearth Breads and Bakery: pumpernickel, German rye and German rye seeded, Italian Milano, honey whole wheat, San Francisco sourdough, assorted cookies and buns, pepperoni rolls, spinach feta cheese bread, multi-grain bread, country loaf, cheese bread, rosemary herb and tomato basil bread, four-cheese bread sticks, jalapeno cheese bread and assorted sweet bread, including cinnamon, cinnamon raisin, strawberry white chocolate, peach pecan, and wild blueberry cream cheese.

T. J Farms: nursery stock plants, trees and bushes.
