Ballet Chelsea’s Adaptive Dance program for everyone

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jane Thompson for the information and photos in this story.)

Ballet Chelsea believes that dance is for everyone, and is now offering a free studio class for special education students.

Through traditional dance methods and creative exploration, these classes work to build physical strength and coordination, as well as enhance peer interaction skills and self-confidence.

Classes will be held on Fridays from 5:15-6:15 p.m. on Fridays beginning March 3 at Ballet Chelsea Studio, 1050 S. Main St.

Students are asked to wear comfortable clothing, and can dance in bare feet or socks. A parent or aide will have to stay at the studio during the class.

Please contact us by phone or email if you are interested in the class 734-475-3070 or [email protected].

This class is sponsored by 5 Healthy Towns Foundation.
