Beach Middle School 7th Grade Football Ties Tecumseh, 8-8

(Chelsea Update would like to thank David Slusser for the information in this story.)

The Beach Middle School 7th grade football team traveled to Tecumseh for its second game of the season and tied Tecumseh, 8-8.

The seventh grade does not play overtime due to 8th grade games being played immediately following the 7th grade game.

After allowing a touchdown on the first play of the game, the dogs shut down Tecumseh the rest of the game.

Highlights include:

  • Kayden Rehmann played a terrific game at quarterback, throwing for a touchdown pass and 2-point conversion (both to Sam Kneffel) and finishing the night with double-digit completions.
  • The Bulldog defense had a stellar night and had many key contributors. Sam Kneffel and Carter Smith recorded several tackles for loss. Kain Taylor and Emmet Tompkins had big plays on defense.
  • Easton Fahlstrom had a banner night on special teams, recording key tackles on punt and kickoff teams. Austin Coy had an excellent couple kicks on kickoff.

The dogs travel next week to Jackson to take on the Vikings.
