The 7th Grade Blue Girls’ Basketball Team finished the season with a strong performance against Tecumseh on March 4. The team improved each week. Playing well for the Bulldogs in the win were Caroline Hirth, Grace Bush, Melissa Jolly, Anna Regis, Alise Hale, Jordan Sietz, Hannah Kahler, Katelyn McKinley, Phoebe Kahler, Laura Scudder and Audrey Phillips. Nina White also did a tremendous job monitoring the bench the last few weeks. Coach Knight would like to thank the team for a fun and rewarding season!
The 7th Grade Gold Girls’ Basketball Team finished the season playing their best game of the year against Dexter on Monday, March 4. With the support of the best middle school student section in the state, the girls had a great chance to win at the end but fell by a score of 17-14. The girls showed a lot of improvement this year, and they should be very proud. Great season ladies.
The 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball Team defeated Tecumseh Monday night to finish their season with a 7-2 record. The game was highlighted by the team shooting 70 percent from the free-throw line (20-28). This effort was led by Ann Knight who was 11 for 12. Great season ladies.
