Beach Middle School Volleyball Improving Each Match

7th grade blue

The Chelsea 7Blue volleyball team came out strong and won their first set vs Dexter 25-22 Wednesday.

Top servers for the set were Delanie Maute and Aria Waldron.

Dexter returned with a win 25-17 for the second set and Savie Burk had good court play. Iris Rouech had consistent serving during the match and Nora Grabarkiewicz added some points for the Dawgs as well but lost 25-11.

7th grade gold

Although we lost to Dexter Wednesday, Chelsea came from behind in the first set 8-16 and lost by one (26-27). Cara Kloos served 6 points in a row. Grace Krugh had 2 hits.

Delanie Monica and  Avery Scheffler both had 8 points for the night. Ruby Jackson had a couple of good passes on hard serves. Kiley Ellis had a good hit.

8th grade gold

8th grade Gold volleyball played Dexter Gold Wednesday night.

The first set was a close, but the Dawgs lost 21-25. Ella Root and Sasha Henriksen had several hits and a great blocks. Lyla Dabbs served well.

In the second set, Marissa Kay, Brynnley Lockman and Cailyn Jbara had good digs. Neve Rodriguez had a nice hit. The team lost but they worked hard.

The 3rd set was exciting to the end, but the Bulldogs came up short 23-25. Sasha played well at the net. Lyla and Ella each had 5 serves and Abby Lokers had 3.

The team continues to improve every week.

8th grade blue

Chelsea could get recover and bring home the win Wednesday night against Dexter.

The team lost 19-25, 7-25, 15-25.
