The Beach Middle School Wrestling Team competed at their home tournament Saturday at Chelsea High School. The wrestlers defeated New Boston Huron 51-50, Jackson Northwest 69-36 and Manchester 50-45. They lost to Onsted 52-46 and Brighton 54-45.
Going undefeated on the day was AJ Tokarski, Nathan Quintana, Nickolaus Matusko, Dillon Hutchison, and Josiah Fitch. Winning 3 matches was Shane Nold, Gabe Vowles, Mitchell Reynolds, and Zachary Dosey.
Jonathan Aquilino won 2 matches Saturday. Nate Banotai, Dalton Grabarczyk, Cal Stacy, Tom Kennings, Daniel Golding, and John Davis were all able to win 1 match.
The wrestlers next travel to Ypsilanti for a dual meet on Wednesday.
