The Beach Middle School wrestling team opened its season at the Tecumseh Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 20.
The Bulldogs placed 6th out of a very tough 14-team field and had several wrestlers earn medals. John Putnam, Drew Maguire, Drew Sherwood, Gabe Anstead, and John Piatt all earned medals at the tournament.
Many other wrestlers went 3-1 on the day as well.
The middle school dogs open their home season Thursday, Jan. 25 against Dexter at the WSEC. Wrestling begins at 4:15 p.m.
