Whether you’re trying to organize your home, or to de-clutter, or planning to move and need help preparing your home for market, Caring Transitions is now offering all of those services to residents of the Chelsea area.

Achla Karnani owns Caring Transitions, which specializes in assisting seniors, but will help people of all ages. The business also serves Ann Arbor, Saline and surrounding areas.

“My passion has always been to help others by finding solutions,” said Karnani. “Caring Transitions is the perfect fit for my ministry, education and skills. It gives me the opportunity to work with families during an often emotionally and physically challenging time and to make a positive impact.”

Caring Transitions’ services are helpful for downsizing as well as helping families clearing out the home of a loved one who has moved into assisted care or has passed. The company can also handle in-person and online estate sales.

The services offered by Caring Transitions are all customizable, allowing clients to choose the service that best fits their needs.

Caring Transitions is bonded, insured, and its W2 employees have been background checked.

“We can help de-clutter, organize, sell, ship things to family members, auction, donate, pack, and resettle,” said Karnani. “You call one company and we can take care of whatever pieces you need us to. We want to be there as a resource so you can focus on the emotional transition that comes with moving, downsizing or clearing out a home.”

Karnani has lived in the Ann Arbor area for 38 years and worked as an administrator at the University of Michigan for 12 years. She earned a Masters in Social Work from U-M, and a law degree from Wayne State University, and practiced family law for 11 years.
