Chelsea Community Kitchen second-hand sale Saturday gets even bigger

The organizers of the Chelsea Community Kitchen’s second-hand sale and silent auction on Saturday have announced that the sale has gotten even bigger and expanded to a second location.

In addition to the main sale in the fellowship hall of St. Paul United Church of Christ, a basement sale has been added that features garden and plants, tools and maintenance, and plumbing and electrical categories.

There’s an addition miscellaneous category, which includes aquariums, weights, a Honda 1300W generator, compound bows and arrows and snow shoes.

Interested shoppers should first go to the main sale location at the church, 14600 E. Old US- 12 to browse what’s there and get directions to the off-site basement sale.

Sales at both the Fellowship Hall and basement location run from 9 a.m.-2 p.m..

The silent auction is scheduled for 11 a.m.-noon and starting bids will be accepted from 9 – 11 a.m.
