Chelsea DDA meets Thursday morning, draft budget on agenda

The Chelsea Downtown Development Authority plans to discuss any available funds from the 2014-15 budget and discuss and adopt a draft FY 2015-16 operating budget of about $456,000, which includes $30,000 for planning, a streetscape project and funding of the REU program.

Also on the agenda is an update on the economic development and parks and recreation plans as well as the Longworth Alley project.

Under unfinished business is a discussion of the marketing of the Mack Building, spring projects and costs and setting an agenda for the May 7 work session.

The DDA meets at 7:30 a.m. in the new Police Building in the City Council Chambers.
