The Chelsea freshman football team completed an undefeated season with an exciting 35-28 victory over Dexter.
Gibby Ichesko ran for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. Caden Basar had 2 short touchdowns and Jayden Woody made a great catch for an important 2-point conversion.
Caleb Fitch and Palmer Hurst both had interceptions.
“I can’t say enough about our offensive line,” the coach said. “They take pride in what they do, and they are physical. It is rare at our level to have 5 guys up front that really get after it like them.
“These guys have talent, and they love to play the game. If they remain unselfish and keep working hard, they will do big things as varsity players.”
