Chelsea girls tennis 3-0 after defeating Adrian

Earlier this week, the Chelsea High School Girls Tennis Team defeated Adrian, 8-0.
No. 1 singles, Laurel Hall won by default.
No. 2 singles, Katie Lee def. Kanan Pandya 6-0, 6-0.
No. 3 singles, EJ Lin def.  Emily McCann 6-0, 6-1
No. 4 singles, Hannah Moore def. Kaela Cherch 6-0, 6-0
No. 1 doubles, Sarah Oberholtzer/Rachel Katz def. Sam Morely/Cassidy Richard 6-1, 6-0
No. 2 doubles, Macayla Zynda/Delaney Osbeck def. Karlee Hartman/Macie Pickering 6-0, 6-1
No. 3 doubles, Jordan Jacobs/Sam Jabara def. Katie Dumont/Haley Gardner 6-0,6-1
No. 4 doubles, Genny Stubbs/Jacquelyn Barbour def. Ali Barr/Ainsley Detwiler 6-0, 6-0

“The girls all played well and finished points well,” Coach Matt Pedlow said, adding, “We’ve been working on closing out games in practice, and the girls did well winning the points they needed to.”

The team is now 3-0, and after winning a quad match last Saturday.

“The girls are on a roll,” Pedlow said. “It’s exciting to watch them play good tennis.”

The No. 3 and No. 4 doubles teams are undefeated this season, No.3 doubles are 6-0, No. 4 doubles are 9-0.
