Chelsea girls track downs Dexter, 75-62; Chelsea Invite today

Chelsea girls track and field came away with a big win against Dexter, 75-62.

“We had a solid team effort across the board,” said coach Loren Thorburn, who added, “We had a number of personal and season records.”

Standout performances:

Sophomore Jordan Holton won the shot and discuss. PR’ed in the discuss 100′ 2″.

Senior Jesse Jacobusse placed 1st in the 800m and 1600m races as well as placed 2nd in the 3200m race. Also, she led her 4x800m relay to a 1st place finish.

Junior Sydney Matusik placed 1st in the 200m and 400m dash and helped the 4x200m and 4x400m relays place 1st.

Chelsea Relays are today, Thursday, April 20. Please come out and support us.
