Today is homecoming for Chelsea High School, which, of course, includes the annual homecoming parade.
Be please advised that the parade will travel from East Middle to Main Street then to Park Street to Madison and it ends at the football stadium.
Drivers are asked to keep an eye out for the participants and some roads will be closed for the festivities.
Here’s the exact route from the Chelsea Police Department. Beginning at 5 p.m. , the parade will begin on E. Middle Street and continue west to S. Main Street, South on S. Main to Park Street, east on Park Street to Madison Street, south on Madison to Washington Street and end at the old Chelsea High School.
Chelsea police advise residents to expect some minor traffic backups during the parade, especially on South Main Street.
