The Chelsea Senior Center had 165 attendees at its annual Christmas feast sponsored by the Mitchell family.
There was a surprise visit from Santa Claus, Christmas carols led by Angelo Angelocci and Glenn Buss and an impromptu performance of “Little Saint Nick” by Johnny Mitchell.
“We want to thank the Mitchell family and the school district for their support of this annual tradition. Their support of the Senior Center and the community throughout the year is much appreciated,” said Trinh Pifer, executive director of the Senior Center.
The “celebrity servers” for the event included Senior Center board members, local Kiwanians, Andy Ingall, Teresa Zigman, Pastor Joy Barrett, and Pastor Kathy Tulman.
“Lots of volunteers helped to make this another festive event and we are thankful for each and every one of them,” Pifer said.
She also wanted to thank Jim Randolph for his leadership as past president of the Senior Center
