The Chelsea U12 Boys Travel Baseball Team, coached by Brent Bell, Brady Murphy and Douglas Shaw, were runners up in the 2013 Grass Lake U12 Summer Mayhem Baseball Tournament in Grass Lake, on June 14-16.

The team was undefeated, winning 4 straight games, going into Sunday’s championship game where they were defeated 4-3 by Livonia in a well-played game.
Assisted by Chris Tarasow and Phil Lewis, and team plays in the Grass Lake Summer Youth League, and earlier in the season, the team won the 2013 Napoleon Wooden Bat Tournament on Saturday, May 25, in Napoleon.
They play in the End of Summer Classic Baseball Tournament at EMU on June 29-30.
