Choose Chelsea: Robin Hills Farm reopens

Robin Hills Farm wants everyone to know it is open for business.

On June 25, Robin Hills Managing Director Adam Kovsky along with Terris Ahrens, executive director of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, officially cut the ribbon.

The setting was Robin Hills’ Prairie House patio with the live music of Big Foot Bob in the background.

The farm had its soft opening in early March, just before the Covid 19 pandemic hit, which meant postponing all of the classes and events Kovsky had scheduled in the spring.

“This summer is going to be busy!” said Kovsky. “Guests can look forward to educational workshops, outdoor fitness classes, and live music on the patio every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. We’ll also be offering cocktails in the coming weeks and want people to know that we have lots of outdoor space for their next wedding, shower, business meeting, or private event.”

The Farm’s mission is to promote organic farming, education, and community.

Robin Hills Farms is located just north of Chelsea off M-52. It had closed to the public in 2018 to restructure different parts of the business according to Kovsky.

During the spring, Robin Hills’ trail system remained open giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the property. That invitation continues.

“I want to invite all the cyclists who love the DTE Energy Foundation trail to stop in for a cold beverage after a long ride,” said Kovsky. “We’re right down the road from the trail and have tons of parking available.
