The Chelsea Area Fire Authority firefighters will be outside Polly’s on Thursday, Dec. 23 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a two-fold purpose.
Firefighters will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army red kettle drive and hosting a Stuff a Fire Truck event encouraging folks to bring non-perishable items, canned goods, baby diapers and food, or hats, gloves, socks or coats, which will be loaded into the fire truck that will be parked there and donated to Faith in Action.
Firefighters also hung a banner outside Polly’s to remind folks about the food drive.
