Next week, it’s expected that construction crews will be working on the new stamped crosswalks, which will be installed in several locations in downtown Chelsea.
Beginning July 8, the stamped crosswalks are expected to go in, says Chelsea City Manager John Hanifan and for four days from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., single lanes will be open on Main Street.
He also thanked city residents for their patience while the bump outs and new ramp near the Purple Rose Theatre were under construction.
