Bragalone,-Michael-webMichael “Mike” Bragalone. Age 66, passed away Dec. 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michael was born the son of Italo and Marilyn (Whiteley) Bragalone on Dec. 6, 1946. On Oct. 30, 1982, he married Annette (Kamysz), who survives him.

Michael was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting pheasant with his beloved English Springer Spaniels, and cherished his time on “The Farm.”

Buss,-LeRoy2LeRoy Clarence Buss, Chelsea, MI. Age 80, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at his home. He was born Oct. 4, 1933 in Chelsea, the son of Clarence & Laura (Feldkamp) Buss.

LeRoy was confirmed at St. John United Church of Christ on Waters Road, and attended Zion Lutheran Church. He was a dairy farmer all of his life. LeRoy was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Tri-County Sportsmen. He enjoyed square dancing and karaoke singing.

Lori-KnightLori Richards Knight, Dexter, MI. Age 53, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 at her home. She was born Aug. 30, 1960 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Thomas & Sharon (Doletzky) Abrass.

Lori was a member of Faith Lutheran church. She loved animals, reading, gardening, bird watching and horses.

parsons-raymondRaymond “Ray”Parsons, of the Dexter/Chelsea Area, Michigan. Age 87, passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at the Arbor Hospice Residence in Ann Arbor. He was born on April 11, 1926, in Chelsea, Michigan, the son of Daniel A. and Amelia B. (Hanselmann) Parsons.

Ray was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Chelsea, where he married Rita M. Gross on Aug. 27, 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946 in the Pacific Theater on the USS Marshall DD-676.

Swank,-DavidDavid William Swank, Chelsea, Michigan. Age 64, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 in Chelsea, Michigan. He was born June 3, 1949 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Marion & Florence (Echoff) Swank.

He enjoyed gardening and was a charter member of the Chelsea Community Garden. And he delighted in his grandchildren.
