James Parry Eyster, Keri Poulter, Marina Martinez-Kratz and Ryan Barney filed for the two open Chelsea Board of Education seats according to the county’s unofficial list of candidates.
The newcomers are vying for two open 6-year seats in the Nov. 6 election.
Current board members Anne Mann and Greg Rhodes chose not to run for re-election. Mann has served for about 13 years, and Rhodes for about four years.
Candidates have until 4 p.m. on July 27 to withdraw.
