The Friends of Chelsea District Library held its first Chamber After Hours Event in the McKune Room at the Chelsea District Library recently. About 40 people attended.
The event was a precursor to National Friends of Libraries Week, which was Oct. 19-25, during which the Chelsea Friends held a membership drive and a special drawing to win a Kindle Paperwhite.
