You can support the education programs and exhibits at the Chelsea History Museum by joining in the fun-raising of the Chelsea Area Historical Society Ragtime Gala dinner and dancing event.

The gala will take place on Saturday, June 18 from 6-10 p.m. and includes dinner, dancing, entertainment and a cash bar at the Village Conference Center, 1645 Commerce Park Dr.

The dinner menu offers a choice of filet mignon, village chicken or pasta primavera alfredo, a vegetarian option.

Entertainment will include the sights and sounds of yesteryear with a fashion show and musical performance from Matthew Ball aka The Boogie Woogie Kid, who will heat up the piano keys with his all American program of family piano favorites from the Swing era.

With 3.5 million youtube views of his past performance and at home video footage; concerts with regular capacity crowds and standing ovations, you won’t want to miss this special “toe-tappin” program.
