(Publisher’s note: Although this home invasion did not happen in the Chelsea area, it did happen close to portions of Lima Township and should serve as a reminder to everyone to keep their eyes open to unusual activity in your neighborhood.)
The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is warning folks that there was a home invasion on Tuesday, Jan. 21 on the 3100 block of Miller Road in Scio Township.
According to the police report, the suspect(s) entered the residence through an exterior garage door sometime between 6:15 a.m. and 5:50 p.m.
Taken from the residence were numerous electronic items. There are no suspects at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
