The Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the two new Little Free Libraries on Oct. 22 in Pierce Park.

There is a second one in Timbertown.

This new community program is brought to you by The Friends of Chelsea District Library with support from the Rotary Club of Chelsea.

Gary Munce and Sam Beale “planted” the two little libraries, and both locations house a selection of books for both children and adults. Visitors are invited to ‘take a book, leave a book’, or just borrow it for the duration of their visit to the parks
