If watching the Chelsea Community Fair Parade is your favorite part of fair, why not see what it’s like from atop a float on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m.?

You and a group of your friends, neighbors, parishioners, community organizations can enter a float. the details can be found below.

Or, if you’d like to help build a float, the Chelsea Senior Center is looking for folks to help them build their float for this year’s fair. The fun is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.

Line-up for the parade begins at 10 a.m.

Parade Superintendent Auggie Syrovy says there’s room for more floats in this year’s parade and reminds participants that there are premiums for first, second and third place winners in both the youth and adult divisions.

And don’t forget to have lots of candy to toss to the thousands of people who line the streets.
