Jan. 25: Barbershop quartet Majestyx to perform at First United Methodist Church

Majestyx, the 2012 Michigan Champion Barbershop Quartet, will be appearing on Jan. 25 at 4: p.m. at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church, 128 Park St.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Majestyx has a fast-paced show featuring popular barbershop songs as well as ballads and Gospel music. The quartet offers comedy narration and family-friendly jokes between its songs to keep the energetic show going.

Majestyx has represented Michigan in international barbershop events and has been selected as one of the top 50 barbershop quartets in the world.
