Two Chelsea congregations are taking church outdoors this Sunday and everyone is invited.

The First Congregational Church and St. Paul Church UCC will join for an “Oktoberfest” themed celebration on Sept. 29 at noon on the grounds of St. Paul, 14600 E. Old US-12,

The event begins at noon with a lively celebration of praise and worship, featuring music by the combined church choirs, powerful stories of personal restoration and opportunities to pray for our community.

Afterward there will be a traditional German-style meal of Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, and Nifflies. Guests are invited to bring a desert to share.

There will also be a cake and pie auction to benefit Faith in Action and an Eagle Scout memorial project. There will be live music and games for kids of all ages.

Come and celebrate all that is good in our life together.
