Breathe Yoga and Robin Hills Farm will be hosting their first “Summer Solstice Festival: ZenTri and Community Celebration,” on Sunday, June 19 at the farm from 9 a.m.-noon.

The triathlon event will consist of a 5K run or walk, a 45-minute yoga practice, and a 20-minute guided meditation. The “untamed and untimed” 5K run (or walk) follows along the newly laid trail at Robin Hills Farm, which weaves throughout the entire property and features a variety of environments both rugged and picturesque.

Woodland, prairie, and wetland will be traversed with views of picturesque agricultural landscapes including the mushroom forest, the vegetable garden, and the livestock pasture where sheep and free-range chickens will be grazing.

The 45-minute yoga practice that follows is designed especially for post-distance recovery and will be led by Breathe Yoga instructors. Finally, the 20-minute guided meditation will serve to complete the mind/body connection, leaving participants feeling energized, rested, and free to enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

Registration is now open, and $30 “early bird” ticket sales will end at 11:59 p.m. on June 9.

Ticket prices go up to $35 on June 10. Ticket prices include the race, a T-shirt, race snacks, and bottled water.

A portion of each ticket sale will go to benefit the Legacy Land Conservancy and Chelsea United Way.

Spectators can attend for free, and those who wish to join the yoga practice or meditation can donate to the non-profit organizations on the day.
