Come by Wags to Wiskers at its new location, 1188 South Main St., on Saturday between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. when The Age of Miracles Animal Rescue hosts an adoption event for cats and dogs that need a home.

Among the homeless is Misty, a female kitten, who has spent her first five months of life in an animal shelter. She is very sweet and friendly.

“Misty is great with other cats, easy going enough that she would likely transition well with dogs, and she would be a terrific pet for children,” said Tara Stone, a volunteer at Age of Miracles. “She would be happy being carried around all day, playing ball, getting dressed up, or just lounging around.”

Misty is up to date on shots and is looking forward to finding a permanent home.

Anyone interested in adopting Misty can email [email protected] or call 517-480-4410. The adoption fee is $50 for cats and $120 for dogs.
