Nov. 13: Uncommon Creatures at the Discovery Center

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Kathy Claflin for the information in this story and the Waterloo Natural History Association for sponsoring this program.)

On Sunday, Nov. 13 from 2-3 p.m., the Creature Conservancy will present Uncommon Creatures at the Discovery Center.

It’s not often that you find a live kangaroo, anteater, or Burmese python  in Michigan. Join us for an afternoon of hands-on interactions with these and other unusual animals brought by the Creature Conservancy.

Learn about where they come from and how they are adapted to their native lands. Cost: $2/person or $5/family. Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.

Advance registration requested at 734-475-3170.
