Due to the recent State of Michigan Supreme Court ruling, it is uncertain whether virtual meetings are allowed under the Open Meetings Act.
While it appears likely that amendments to the Open Meetings Act will become law in the very near future, the City of Chelsea will not hold virtual meetings until the proposed legislation is signed into law.
Therefore, Wednesday night’s goals and objectives work session and Thursday morning’s Downtown Development Authority meeting have been postponed.
