Currently, the City of Chelsea is working on a rewriting its community master plan.
This document is very important because it is a living document that guides development based on the community’s vision for itself.
Once this vision is compiled in a new master plan…then the zoning ordinance can be modified to guide development toward that vision. The key themes of the new master plan will be Transportation, Land Use, Age-Friendly, Healthy Communities, Sustainability, Heritage and Culture, Recreation and Entertainment, and Economic Development.

- Email request to Christine Linfield to be included in Master Plan updates.
- Attend our first public engagement meeting to be held on Jan. 20, 2016 at the Chelsea Public Library from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
