Publisher’s Message: I’m Back and Thank You For Your Well Wishes and Support

Photo by Nancy Jennings. Aidan, Buzz and I show our support of the Michigan Wolverine football team.

This year, while readers are feeling grateful for so many things in their lives, I’ve never been more thankful to have my health back.

Buzz, Aidan and I are happy to update readers that after almost two weeks of feeling absolutely horrible, (and a surprise positive COVID test along the way, which explained my myriad of symptoms) the road ahead is a straight line to wellness.

This week, I returned to the ranks of feeling human in time for Thanksgiving, out of town company, and The Game today.

I’m ecstatic as that was a really, really rough stretch, but no one is happier than Aidan. My zero-energy level left him totally frustrated and yup, rather obnoxious. It’s not easy to be a high drive puppy and not be able to let it go.

He chose Buzz as his target, constantly harassing him to play.

While Buzz took his new role as nursemaid quite seriously; Aidan was just plain frustrated that we weren’t doing anything. He’s still wearing his puppy empathetic training wheels.

So when I finally felt well enough to grab a ball and a bumper and take both dogs outside to the Rally ring to heave things for Aidan, he finally got to get his ya-ya’s out.

Boom, happy puppy, happy Buzz, happy household again.

Now Go Blue!

And thank you to everyone who sent notes wishing me a speedy recovery. They were so appreciated.

I’d also like to thank the people who donated to my efforts and the continued daily operations of Chelsea Update during the last two months.

If you would like to make a non tax-deductible donation to my efforts, please either send a check in any amount made out to Chelsea Update and sent to 18829 Bush Road, Chelsea, MI 48118 or make a donation through paypal through the donate button on the home page of the website.
