Let the 2015 Chelsea Community Fair week begin …
I’m sure I’ll see a lot of you today dropping off hobby barn entries so be sure to say “cheese” for my camera as this community’s collective favorite week of the year gets underway.
I wish everyone the best of luck this week and be sure to give the youth exhibitors encouragement as they show their animals. These kids work hard feeding and training their livestock and deserve our applause for a job well done.

As a reminder to everyone who is used to hearing back from me promptly when they send an email — this week is all-fair, all-the-time, so you might not hear back from me as quickly. Please be patient. This week means a lot of early mornings and late nights for me as I write stories and edit and publish tons of photos.
