Purple Rose Theatre Company 3rd annual BBQ fundraiser

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will host its 3rd annual Backyard BBQ Fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 3, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The BBQ will feature a farm-to-table dinner created by Zingerman’s Roadhouse with vegetarian options, cocktails, live music and auction activities at Cornman Farms, located at 8540 Island Lake Road in Dexter, only 7 miles from the theater.

2014BackyardBBQ_SaveTheDateTicket prices are $70 and $100 per person. For $70, guests may attend the BBQ cocktails and buffet dinner, auctions and ever-popular Wine Pull with from 4:30-7:45 p.m.

For $100, guests enjoy cocktails and BBQ, live/silent auctions, and receive a ticket for the 8 p.m. performance of “The Last Romance” by Joe DePietro, including a themed-dessert intermission provided by Laura O’Brien Sweets and Treats.

All guests will enjoy a preview of the 2014/2015 Purple Rose season of plays. Auction items will include an exclusive Detroit Lions Training Camp package for 4, a premium Detroit Lions Suite (one game for 12 with parking and food credit), a Rocky Mountain Getaway for 6 in Big Sky (Montana), Purple Newsroom Studio Bike autographed by Jeff Daniels, Chef Common’s Deluxe Lobster Bake and Wine/Theatre Package for 12, U-M vs. Maryland Roth Club Football tickets and premiere parking pass, autographed Lions football, a selection of gift certificates/services, jewelry, memorabilia and more.
