This week’s Chelsea Police Department blotter contains crimes that involve two Whitmore Lake men, who were arrested for unlawful entry onto a Buchanan Street property, and caught thanks to the quick thinking of a nearby neighbor who called police when she saw something amiss.
While on routine patrol, police found a motor home parked on Commerce Park Drive leaking a smelly fluid into a sewer grate and a 17-year-old employee at a Main Street store was caught re-depositing returnable bottles into the store’s machines and pocketing the cash for the deposit slips.
Also, a Chelsea resident had her car taken, its title forged, and the vehicle sold by a relative who was staying with her.
