Recent Obituary: Audrey Constance (Wheeler) Fultz

Audrey Constance (Wheeler) Fultz of Chelsea, formerly of Orange, NJ, Florham Park, NJ, Holmdel, NJ; Scio Township, MI, and Dexter, age 97, died Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Chelsea Retirement Community.

She was born Feb. 1, 1925 in Orange, New Jersey, the daughter of George and Helen (Denike) Wheeler.

Audrey graduated from West Orange High School in New Jersey, and then Brookdale Community College, where she later worked as a clerical assistant. Audrey enjoyed gardening and was an active member in the Garden Club R.F.D. in Middletown, NJ.

A memorial service at the Chelsea Retirement Community is pending. Please check back for updatesHer ashes will be placed in the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel, New Jersey.

Phillip Douglas Miller, age 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Dexter, on June 19, 2022.

Born Nov. 26, 1960, in Ypsilanti to Redding Fredrick and Carolyn Sue (Elkins) Miller.

At age 11 through early adulthood, Phill worked on a local farm that sparked his passion for gardening. He graduated from Calvary Christian Academy in 1978. He was a self-employed carpenter and builder for most of his adult life. Phill enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman, landscaper, and gardener. He was a firearm enthusiast and enjoyed a wide range of music.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 24, 2022, 3:30 p.m. at Cole Funeral Chapel, in Chelsea, MI, with Pastor Matthew Parks officiating. Family will begin receiving guests at 2:00 p.m.
