Recent obituary: Elizabeth Ann Becker

Elizabeth Ann Becker of Manchester, formerly of Dexter, age 78, passed away Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Manchester.

She was born Aug. 5, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Michael and Helen (Prybis) Swiecicki.

Elizabeth graduated from Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor in 1957. She worked as a flight attendant for North Central Airlines where she met Forrest Paul Becker II. They were married on Nov. 5, 1965, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, and settled in Dexter to raise their family.

 

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Dec. 22, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Village Church on the corner of Dover and Forth Street in Dexter, with Fr. Brendan J. Walsh officiating.  Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Chelsea, Michigan.  The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel on Thursday, 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Friday 10-11 a.m.
